DESCRIPTION:\nThis is a one-day course designed to prepare the armed profes
 sional operating the ballistic shield in the field. Topics covered in this
  course will educate the shield operator on manipulations\, carry methods\
 , shooting positions\, armor plating\, and rescue techniques. The informat
 ion taught in this course will increase the safety of the armed profession
 al and their efficiency with this tool.\n\nExperience Requirements:\n\nStu
 dents must be Active Law Enforcement. Students failing to meet and maintai
 n our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstra
 te the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from 
 training. In order to receive a certificate of completion\, students will 
 be required to demonstrate proper safe gun handling and use of a ballistic
  shield in any environment through 8 hours of training.
