DESCRIPTION:\n“Neuro-Zen Gardens” uses a combo of Neurographic Art and
Zentangle styles. Both use line drawing and repetitive pattern making in a
theme of a garden. This allows students to have a relaxing activity\, enc
ompassing the beauty of nature\, which helps them to slow down and refocus
. Finishing up the artwork with coloring or painting your design is a calm
ing and satisfying way to complete your project.\n\nNo art experience is n
eeded—this is about expression\, not perfection. Come take a breath\, ma
ke something meaningful\, and enjoy a little creative calm.\n\n“Creating
Calm” is a Mindful Art Workshop Series taught by Artist and Instructor\
, Jessica Snowden. Each is a stand-alone class yet can be taken as an ongo
ing practice to refocus your mind to find more peace using different art a
ctivities.\n\nAbout the Instructor\n\nJessica Snowden has been an active p
roducing artist since 2006 but creating all sorts of items and projects fr
om a very young age. She became interested in the healing nature of the cr
eative process while going through a series of challenging life events tha
t left her unable to completely communicate what I was dealing with. Thoug
h she loves the process of journaling\, there are some thoughts she did no
t want written down and realized she could still process her ideas without
them being available for others to read.
