Pepper ball recertification is a mandatory training for law enforcement officers and security personnel who carry the non-lethal PepperBall system.
This course ensures continued competency in the system's safe and effective operation, maintenance, and deployment for de-escalation and conflict resolution. Recertification courses are offered by PepperBall or affiliated training centers and are often required to maintain proficiency and renewal of agency authorization for using the system.
This course also teaches the basic theories for the application of O/C in a Response to Resistance situation.
Discussions involve the advantages and disadvantages of O/C to include the escalation and de-escalation of force during a threatening confrontation.
This course is for recertification or continuing education purposes, the student completing this course will receive a certificate of training for 4 hours of CEU Completion.
