-------------------------------ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Bill Hanson is new to the local art scene, having moved here recently from the Kansas City area. He took up an interest in drawing at a very early age. He concentrated in drawing using charcoal, pastels, and colored pencils before moving on to pen and ink. These talents resulted in being published in several magazines and technical publications. About 10 years ago Bill added acrylic painting to his repertoire and has had his work in several showings and has volunteered pieces for auction to help support the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy which helps foster youth participation in the arts.
