Join us for an evening of celebration, remembrance, and community spirit at the Sunset Block Party. This special event is designed to bring our community together in joy and unity while honoring and remembering the brave individuals from our community who were killed in action. Come enjoy live music, enjoy yummy food from local businesses, family-friendly activities, and meaningful moments of reflection as the American Legion leads a remembrance. All are welcome — let’s gather as neighbors, friends, and family to share stories, make memories, and pay tribute to our heroes under the setting sun.
We are collecting items for care packages for deployed troops. Suggested items include powdered drink mix, beef jerky, dried fruit, protein powder and candy that does not easily melt. Please drop off at the City of Hutto Booth.
- Any Special Entertainment?: Enjoy live music!
- Food & Drink: Enjoy food from Top Notch, Jalisco’s, Jack Allen’s Kitchen and Southside BBQ
- Activities / Attractions: Splash pad, face painting, caricature artists and selfie stations
- Parking: Parking available in the parking garage, and near the co-op businesses
If you would like to have a loved one's name included in the remembrance ceremony, please send their name, rank, branch of service, and KIA date to PARD@huttotx.gov by May 20.
